Lyon and Chateau Calisanne, France
Lyon reminds me of Manhattan with its long shape, two rivers and an expressway on the side, the downtown is populated with commercial centers, while uptown has a feel of Harlem. The food is supposed to be the best in France. The weather is gloomy and rains continuously.
A small town, with a vineyard, trees, mountains, lake and Mediterranean weather. I especially like to sit down by the water and listen to its sound and watch the fish jumping in the river.
07.04 Provence, France: The Trunk is Locked….
I call for the mechanic to come over to open the trunk of our car that is being locked. I have done a stupid thing and have left the key in the trunk. After waiting for almost four hours, the mechanics finally arrive. Thank god that he is able to break through it via the hook in front. I paid $300 USD.
The Lavender Fields
The Lavender fields are the highlight of the trip. I am finally rewarded with the most beautiful sight on earth. Valensole plateau, Sainte-Marie and Gorge de Verdon….
