Surprisingly the town after the rain is so attractive. I spend two hours walking through the narrow alleys on the stone roads. I deliberately stroll into the alleys without any people. I love it! I stroll along the river, through the park, and all the way beyond the old town to the residential areas. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. I can smell the freshness of the trees and rain. There are many lovely cafes with a contemporary atmosphere and unique characters. Great vibes!
I try the honey liquor (23%) with a spicy chili. It has a good amount of spice, and it’s actually very tasty. I discover Ljubljana’s traditional steamed dumplings called Struklji which are made of cheese and have different flavors in them.
