Meeting the Penguins
I choose to take the metro train down to Boulder’s beach to see the penguins. It costs $1USD for a total of three hours. The city safety is horrible and no one rides the train. You can see graffiti on the train and passengers cut the cotton out of the seat paddings.
The view is truly scenic in the last twenty minutes of the journey. It reminds me of Sydney, Bondi Beach. Only in the Southern Hemisphere can you find such scenery and atmosphere.
Table Mountain, one of the “New Seven Nature Wonder of the World”
Table Mountain, (New Seven Nature Wonder of the World) is also impressive and is reminiscent of the Blue Mountain in Australia. Overlooking it from the top, I realize the most distinguished feature of the Southern hemisphere is the color of the coastline, probably due to the effect of corals. I have to wait for almost two hours to go up in the cable car but the wait is well worth it.
