2.11 Namibia to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
The Victoria Falls Airport is exceptionally new. There is a multi-entry visa covering both Zimbabwe and Zambia that caters to tourists for $50. People speak English well here too. The town is so small that there are only a few shops in the center. Surprisingly, there is a Thai restaurant here, though almost all the dishes taste the same.
2.12 Zimbabwe and Zambia
I have an early start today and leave at 8 a.m. to Victoria Falls. It’s a 30-minute walk from the Rainbow Hotel to the falls. Many people are wearing raincoats, and I rent one for $30. The entry fees are $30 for the Zimbabwe side and $20 for the Zambia side, but there are more vista points in Zimbabwe (16 points) than in Zambia.
